James is Managing Partner at Skyline Ventures, formerly a Partner at MSA Capital and China Growth Capital. Prior to that he was with Sequoia Capital China. He holds a Masters degree in Micro Electronics and a Bachelors degree in Material Science and Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
James is responsible for the origination of many of Sequoia Capital China's marquis investments, including Pin Duo Duo (NASDAQ: PDD) and has led many of the highest profile tech investments in Asia including Tiger Trade (NASDAQ: TIGR), Laiye, ZJDD, Boo, Chongding, 51yongche and others.
